Description: In this presentation, we will explain how we implemented real time streaming combined with batch processing on Hadoop via the Orzota platform. During this talk we will show how we synthesize a stream processing system for high velocity data with scalable low cost persistence on Hadoop. In this example, you will see a Use Case from a mobile gaming company and how this methodology improves customer experience.

Speaker's Bio: Bharath Mundlapudi is co-founder, President & CTO of Orzota. Bharath was part of the initial team at Yahoo! who built Hadoop. He has extensive advisory experience (both strategy and technical) in the big data and data science solutions for a various verticals including tech, retail, manufacturing and finance. Prior to that, he was an architect in the Data Science group at Netflix. He worked in the Hadoop engineering group at Yahoo! where he was the lead engineer for the Hadoop Disk Fail Inplace project. Bharath was a member of the JVM group at Sun Microsystems where he worked on JVM and Java EE application server
