Flink Cluster on Cloud in Minutes to Analyze Streaming Time Series Data

Details
Join us August 24th for a joint meetup between Chicago Flink Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Chicago-Apache-Flink-Meetup/) and Open Source Analytics Chicago Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Open-Source-Analytics-Chicago-IL-Meetup/). We will meet at 5:30 for Pizza on the 6th floor, and begin the presentation at 6. 71 S. Wacker runs a very tight ship on building security (unlike previous venues) so please make sure the name in your profile is your actual name, or you may not be able to gain access.
Original Title: “Build a Multi Node Flink Cluster in Minutes in the Cloud, and Use it to Model Streaming Time Series Data"
Abstract: “During the presentation, a multi node Flink cluster will be deployed on IBM’s Blue Mix platform using Docker. Once the cluster is deployed, it will be used to aggregate a streaming time series data set consisting of the Chicago Transit Authority’s historical bus position data. You will see how for only a few dollars, you can use open source software, and commodity computing resources to efficiently aggregate a very large dataset"
Speaker Bio: "Joe Olson is a local developer that specializes in using emerging technologies to solve complex business problems. He has experience working with several Chicago area early stage startups"
