I will be happy to show my program but I will not discuss in detail how some parts of it are done, If you want me demonstrate let me know. It is an interactive statistical graphic program. If you wish you can download the demo at www.datapaint.com. If you wish me to demonstrate I would need laptop to present as I do not have one.
Let me know if that works with you.
On October 2 I posted on our group's message board a plea for members to volunteer to make presentations to the group. So far no one has responded. For a professional group in a major city with 200 members that's more than disappointing. Surely some of you have experiences or techniques you'd like to share with the rest of us.
It doesn't have to be a full session;. We can put together an interesting program with 2 or 3 brief talks.
Of course, we need to maintain high quality in our presentations, but I can't believe that among 200 members and their professional contacts we can't find a few talented, well-organized speakers. If not, then we may have to take dire action, such as:
(a). Dissolving the group
(b). Reusing some of the same speakers we've heard during the past 2 years (but perhaps different topics)
(c). A joint meeting with CJUG
