Abstract: Advanced Analytics in the Age of Big Data: Challenges & Opportunities
While using Advanced Analytics to solve business problems is not new, the onslaught of big data will change everything from the problems we are trying to solve to the algorithms we use. The challenges of managing big data are substantive and still in their infancy, and as this infrastructure matures the analytical techniques and processes will also need to evolve and scale. One new opportunity will revolve around personalization based on geo-location (location based analytics), and how organizations can use the mobile channel to provide real-time offers.
