We're excited to host the upcoming Chocolate Truffle making class with Logan Square Candy hot spot - Katherine Anne Confections (http://www.katherine-anne.com/) and sponsor CRAVE Chicago (http://thecravecompany.com/chicago/) ~ the city's hottest women's guide to businesses you crave! For those of you new to The Cooking Chicks we are Chicago's biggest organized group of women who love food! From cooking for each other, recipe swapping, practical cooking classes designed for new to advanced home cooks, dish sharing, to restaurant outings, we organize it all! The only requirement - you like to eat!

Katherine Duncan (also a Cooking Chick!) is the owner of Katherine Anne Confections. Her chocolates can be found all over the city from coffee shops to your local Whole Foods! Her goodies have been featured in TimeOut Chicago, Sun-Times, Ideal Bite, The Chicagoist, Chicago Social and more....

Our dried spices are have been proudly sponsored by ongoing Cooking Chicks supporter Serious Gourmet ~ check out all their amazing artesian goods from around the world at www.serious-gourmet.com. This class is team-oriented and completely hands on so you'll get to know some great women while you drum up some creative inspiration on what to make!

This event cost also includes some Cooking Chicks Cocktail punch to sip on as you enjoy the class, light bites, all class supplies and ingredients! You'll also get to take home a box of everyone's truffle creations!

*EVENT REFUND POLICY:

100% Refund is given if notice is emailed to chicagocookingchicks@gmail.com is given by March 5, 2012
50% Refund is given if notice is emailed to chicagocookingchicks@gmail.com is given by March 10, 2012
Any notices after March 10th or any no-shows will not be refunded. If the event is canceled or rescheduled a 100% refund will be issued or attendees can use as a credit towards other Cooking Chicks events so long as they stay a part of The Cooking Chicks this does not expire!

We all love food and eating so we hope that's why you joined us ! However, please note if you have a food allergy when signing up for this event you agree to take on the full responsibility of knowing what you can and cannot eat. All guests are responsible for inquiring what is in the food & if there are sensitivities prior to sign up and when at the event. The Cooking Chicks assume no responsibility on food allergies or reactions to food allergies. Thank you

*EVENT FEES:

We're growing and want to make sure you have an amazing Cooking Chicks event experience that are well planned and affordable so our fees for events may vary. The Cooking Chicks events create a unique experience for women to bond and network over food! Your event fee goes towards purchase of event supplies and hosting kit, Ingredients, Room Fees (where applicable), MeetUp fees, Paypal fees, Organizer Time, Create accountability to hold your spot for an event and/or in some cases Payment to vendors for their services and event experiences they provide to us. Any Cooking Chick who hosts an event will have the event fee waived as a thank you for hosting and all supplies for that event are provided to the host. Any out of pocket costs are reimbursed (minus any alcohol expense which is BYOB unless otherwise noted) out of fees collected. Thank you.
