For print designers wanting to learn digital design
Details
FROM PRINT TO DIGITAL
Designers working in print learn valuable skills in brand presentation, tone, visual hierarchy and layout. But how do these principles apply to digital design?
Join us as Carolyn Chandler gives an overview of interaction design principles and considerations that print designers should understand when moving from static, printed pages, to dynamic and interactive interfaces. You'll leave with an understanding of major differences, common misconceptions, and a list of resources for continued learning in the digital space.
Jim Potsch will talk about his own transition from traditional, print-based design to web design to user experience design.
