Beyond Usability: Designing for Emotional Engagement
Details
THE TALK
http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/4/7/9/c/event_170238332.jpegHow products thrive or fail can often be pinned on how well they satisfy emotional needs in new or unexpected ways. Yet too frequently, design is measured in terms of usability, task completion, the lowest common denominator, and the ambiguous “delight.”
This discussion explores how to identify and leverage emotions to differentiate product and service offerings in increasingly complex marketplaces.
If you play a role in digital or traditional product development, this session will provide you with a new look at designing differentiated and meaningful experiences.
