Finding Gaps in Your User Experience With Mental Models
How do we use the right research tools and approaches to get at the the proper depth of understanding to solve the toughest design challenges?  A mental model is one approach that provides us with both depth and breadth about how people think about engaging your product.  The model guides design decisions according to how people do things in the broader context of their goals and highlights gaps in the experience with your product.

Speaker:
Brian Winters is a design researcher and user experience consultant at Manifest Digital in Chicago, IL with over 12 years experience in user-centered design.  Brian works to connect his clients with the human aspects of their customers so they develop a strong sense of empathy and understanding.  By deeply understanding their customers, organizations can begin shift their own internal perspective beyond incremental improvements and achieve leaps in innovation.

I'm so sorry I missed it. For some reason it was on my calendar for Wed. Sorry for being a "no-show."

Speaking of filling the gap, why not post the deck online as a PDF? That way those of us sitting in the back can take out our devices and follow along without squinting and straining. Thanks Brian and WunderLand for your presentation.

Tremendously tedious, extremely abstract, but very useful research tool and great decoration for the scrum room

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
