The Chicago NetBeans User Group is here to help developers and others in the Midwest US learn about NetBeans, related tools and really cool applications that are built using NetBeans IDE or NetBeans Platform!
With NetBeans IDE, you can quickly and easily develop desktop, mobile and web applications.
NetBeans IDE supports Java, HTML5, PHP, C/C++, Groovy, Python, and other languages. It's FREE, open source, and has a worldwide community of users and developers.
We generally meet every other month in person with presentations on NetBeans topics, tutorials, and bleeding edge news. Occasionally, we will also have presentations of hardware and devices that can benefit from NetBeans.
We are always looking for new speakers. Our meetings are usually free to attend, and should be of interest to both new and experienced developers. Join us, won't you?
