This is a group for folks who have just moved to Chicago, or who aren't originally from here. If you've chosen to make Chicago your home, it's a great place to be- there's lots of friendly faces, tons of culture, and so much to do. For those of you who want to know:
Is this a singles group? No, not exclusively. People might meet others to date, certainly, but that's not the point of this group.
Is this a networking group? Again, not exclusively, but if you make some good business connectiong or find a job through this group, that's great!
Is this a Chicago-centric group? Yes. It's just easier to focus the group on the city area. Events outside the city are welcome, but be aware that the majority of folks on this group are likely to live within the city itself. Thanks.
