Rails Bridge workshops are two-day events that empower women by leveling up their programming skills and teaching them the fundamentals of Ruby on Rails.  We aim to increase gender diversity in the Ruby community and create a supportive (and fun!) environment for gals of all ages to take their first steps into RoR.

Our workshops are 100% free and open to all experience levels. Really!  Anything from "I have never coded before in my life" to "I have been doing this for years and just want to see what is up with this Ruby on Rails thing".  Men are welcome to come as a guest of a woman who is registered for the event.

If you are interested in attending one of our workshops, supporting us, volunteering, or you just want to know what's going on with the group, feel free to join!  If you'd like to get involved with workshop planning, you can reach out to an organizer and we'll let you know what you can do to help.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
