Wells Street Bridge Photo Shoot
Details
Anyone interested in documenting part of the repair process on the Wells Street Bridge? Over the next week crews will be working around the clock in 12 hour shifts in order to complete repairs to the Wells Street Bridge over the Chicago River. The bridge was originally built in 1922, and these repairs should extend the life of the bridge another 75 years. The bridge is double decked, the lower deck carrying lanes of motor traffic over the river with, sidewalks on both sides of the street. The upper deck serves as a bridge for the CT A's Brown and Purple lines.
Let's meet at the Argo, and then walk down to the bridge.
