Let’s Make a Plugin Together!

WordPress as a platform has become incredibly popular and successful. One of the chief reasons for this success is the powerful plugin architecture built into WordPress which allows for it to be very easily customized and extended. Over the course of his time spent developing with WordPress, Kyle Maurer has learned that making plugins is not only easy but also fun!

In this presentation/live demo we’ll walk through the basics of how plugins work, what they’re capable of and exactly how to make them from scratch. Some basic coding experience will help but is not strictly required for this session to be useful.
