Bo knows Art: He teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's department of Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects Bo knows Design: with more than 15 years in the creative arts and multidisciplinary design space.

Bo knows data: He is also a Research Fellow at U of C's legendary Urban Center for Computation and Data.

Learn about some new projects. We are honored to host Bo at the Chicago City Data Users Group meeting on November 5th. Bo will give us some deep insight into a number of projects he has been involved in including:

• Lake SIM - a city scale simulation platform for urban planning

• The City of Big Data’s dynamic city model and projector system at the Chicago Architecture Foundation (go see it!!!)

• The Art of Data Visualization - a cross university program to develop novel ways of communicating data sets (what he is thinking here will blow your mind)

• He will also discuss other UrbanCCD projects that will have a big impact on how we see, sense, and understand our the cities of today and tomorrow:

• The Array of Things (AoT) project, a collaboration between SAIC, the UrbanCCD, as well as Argonne National Laboratory. A project that explores the important role that design is playing in the future of city sensing.
