Playgroup @ Pirates Cove Children's Theme Park (Elk Grove)

If the weather is decent out for some outdoor play, we will be meeting in the Pirates Cove Children's Theme Park in Elk Grove Village.

If you have never been here, this place is a childrens theme park geared towards 1-8 year olds with unlimited access to the following attractions: Kids Carousel, Hand Propelled Trains, Castle of Camelot (playground), Paddle Boats, Pirate Plunge (large slide), Rock Climbing Wall, Jolly Rogger Jump (inflateable bounce house), Safari Express (train ride), Pirate Ship (craft area below and pinic tables above), plus Entertainment Stage where they have shows and activities for the kids from 10a-2p. Adults can ride/play with their children on the Pirate Plunge (large slide), Safari Express (train) and in the Castle of Camelot (playground).

FYI ~ The daily admission receipt gives you come and go access, so technically you could come in the morning and return later in the day after the youngsters naps, since on Tuesdays & Thursdays this place is open from 10am-8pm. This place allows you to bring in outside food, so you can pack a lunch and make a day of it. They have a two seperate picnic table area's to use; tables/chairs with unbrellas located on the top of the Pirate Ship and picnic tables under a shade canopy located behind the paddle boat area. They also have a concession stand with food, drinks and ice cream treats too. Plenty of FREE parking.

INDOOR ALTERNATE:

If the weather is not favorable for outdoor play, then we will change the location to inside the adjacent Indoor Carousel and Jumps n' Jiggles Playarea, located next to the Pirates Cove Childrens Theme Park with the building entrance at 1000 Wellington Ave, Elk Grove Village. Cost: $4 per child (Adults FREE), open from 10am-2pm and you can bring in your own food and drinks for the gang to eat with seating for 105 people including 8 high chairs too. Plenty of room to bring in the stroller and Adults can ride the carousel with the kids too. I have also attached a photo with a COUPON (BUY-1 Child/GET-1 Child FREE) for those that need to buy more then one like me.
