About The Chicago area Dungeons & Dragons / RPG Meetup Group

Hello everyone,

This group is for people who love D&D or would like to learn more about the game.
A typical meet up will have a volunteer D.M. ready to conduct a one shot D&D session. Be prepared to hang out for 2-3 hours. If you don't wish to game we encourage you to come and meet other members so you can eventually join a campaign.

Warning: rules-lawyers, uber-geeks, vampires, people who game in costume, the intensely shy, drama queens, those who find it necessary to carry weapons, the politically correct, people who believe in magic, the easily shocked or offended, perpetually angry people with impulse control issues, prudes, people who talk to strangers about their characters, and those who do not adhere to generally accepted hygiene practices will NOT fit in with us, so please don't waste your time. If the foregoing sentence pissed you off, you probably won't fit in with us. If, however, you thought that sentence was funny and deeply understand why I had to include it, we would love to hear from you.

Edit: Terry is actually ok with people who game in costume...as long as it isn't an old, used Racoon costume. A NEW racoon costume would be fine.

OH! Like you didn't think Furries gamed? Come on now!

The Intensely shy are also welcomed. USUALLY you guys are cool once you come out of your shell. If there is a steak knife or chainsaw in that shell with you...well...as your dear friends, we urge you to stay at home.
