This is a "Working Actors Only" group and more than a networking group. It is for the actors out there who are doing more work than their agent is giving them, and know it's going to take that kind of determination and strength to actually make a career in this business.

This group is NOT for the consultant who wants to start acting, nor is it for the waiter who hasn't done a job in the last 9 months. At this time we are also not accepting College Students, unless they are members of the union and have 4 years of working experience.  Children are also ineligible as this is very much an adult group. 

This group is for the movers and shakers who are making it happen not only for themselves but for the community.

We meet monthly to share goals, dreams, leads, bad experiences, great coaches, amazing shoots, and keep a forward positive focus on all of our paths. Some of our past topics have included Self Promotion, Working your Connectors, Indie Film Breakdown, "Union, Non-Union, and Financial Core: What does it all mean?" We also regularly host panel discussions with casting directors, other working actors, union representatives, and collegiate filmmakers.

Our group has a membership contribution of $60 annually, and that contribution goes to our operating budget and stipends/ travel expenses for potential guest speakers.

It's hard to find mentors in the world of acting so this group steps in to be just that- Experienced actors MENTORING each other. We'll work, we'll encourage, and we'll all grow!

If you are not accepted to this group, generally it is because you are not an actor or you lack experience. Please answer the submission questions thoroughly. Our group has an automatic process of cleaning house of inactive members, so please know that this is a group that requires some participation.  We are actors, so of course it is understood when life gets busy with shows and classes, but we are proud of this policy and it is one of the reasons our group has thrived these past few years.
