Let's Take a Hike: Sag Valley Trail

Let's take a Hike. This will be a 8.5 mile hike (the yellow loop). We will try to make it in 3 hours. Please dress accordingly. The terrain is hilly with uneven, sometimes narrow trails. If it rains this week the trails will be muddy. Don't forget to bring water and snack for the hike.

We will meet at 9:15 and start the hike at 9:30 sharp. Please be on time.

We will meet at South Swallow Cliff Woods. South Swallow Cliff Woods South is ½ miles South of Cal-Sag Road (Rt 83) on La Grange Road/96th Ave (US 45) (West side of the road.) From I-55 exit LaGrange Rd South. It will be on the right ½ mile past Cal-Sag Road (Rt 83).

We will meet by the small shelter on the right about 1/4 mile in the parking lot.

Don’t Forget: Bring water, sun block, bug spray and a snack for the trail.
