Assalam alekum (peace)!

The Chicago Muslim Friends for Sports & Adventure Group is meant for Chicagoland muslims and non-muslim friends and supporters of all ages to get together for sports, adventure and social events. It is not a forum for political views. It is not an exclusive group either so we welcome all those who support muslims. Events are non-alcoholic and traditional family values are stressed.

Please note - although we like to have fun, the Group subscribes to core Islamic values.

Activities include hikes, bikes, water sports, museum and historic tours, movie events, bowling, volleyball, tennis, social get-togethers. Activities are kept safe and affordable, and carpooling is encouraged. Feel free to post messages on the Message Board - this is a fully transparent group for your enjoyment and we trust you will use it in a responsible manner.

Most events are "Scouted", a technique Organizers use to visit the event location a few days before and verify the address, details and directions. It includes a safety, facilities and weather check for your safety and enjoyment.
