Join our growing network of veg families who live in Chicago and the suburbs.

Our community supports vegetarian and vegan families with kids.

We also welcome non-veg families

who are interested in the vegan/vegetarian lifestyle.

Here we will build friendships, share advice and support our families' journeys!

This group is meant to be a community group that can connect vegan/vegetarian families within their local neighborhoods, where members can host an event such as a local playdate. We encourage members to suggest and/or host events for our calendar!

ChicagoVeg Kids members choose a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle for a number of reasons: ethical, environmental, health, and spiritual. We support a nonjudgmental community where everyone can feel welcome to express their opinions, socialize, and have fun! Some of the fun activities include the following: exchanging kid-friendly vegan recipes, park & plays, vegan food potlucks, dining out with our children at local vegetarian/vegan restaurants, lectures pertaining to the vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, and outreach events that promote a vegan lifestyle.
