Why: Hosting a meet up and venue rental
Don't let the word Artist scare you. If you do creative work, you are an artist. You don't have to be the BEST or a professional at it, just enjoy doing it. And enjoy showing others and maybe teaching or learning from others.
I want us to have a place to meet with other local fiber artists, weavers and spinners but also braiders, knitters, crocheters and quilters. To have a couple of hours a month to do some work while chatting with friends. We can show what we are doing, talk about what we hope to do, to exchange ideas and encouragement and to just TALK to other fiber artists.
I want people to bring their latest projects. Their successes and their failures. To share their knowledge and listen to others share theirs. A safe place to try something new and find out if it is for you or not. And above all for us all to have FUN.
