RiseUp: a social hackathon

Hello Chic@s Poderos@s,

Do you want to change the world? Do it better? At a time of profound upheaval in our world, Fusion presents RiseUP (http://www.fusionriseup.com/), a event that gathers a diverse group of leaders to explore ways to transform rising tides of protest into waves of progress.

With the support of Chicas Poderosas and Hacks/Hackers, and leading up to RiseUp, Fusion invites you to join us before, November 15 & 16, in Miami and New York to build new tools for social change.

This hackathon will bring together technologists, journalists, activists, designers, artists and other creatives to design projects that will change the world. Participants will focus on building tools around issues of:
environment, corruption, inequality, poverty and education.

The schedule is:
Saturday: 9am to 7pm
Sunday 9am to 7pm
