This three day mediathon will provide young media professionals with workshops on virtual reality, podcasts, digital portfolios and social media.

The first two days will include the following sessions:

-Salary negotiations, impostor syndrome, work-life balance

-Covering minorities and community journalism

-Visual Storytelling

-Virtual Reality

-Snapchat storytelling

-Creating a digital portfolio

-Podcasts

And the third day will be a hand-on mediathon at The Lab Miami.

Let’s tell Miami stories together. We will have an introduction on income inequality and gentrification in Miami. Later, participants will have a few hours to produce stories in Wynwood around that topic. Presentations will be at the end of the day, and we'll close it off with a PARTYYY!
