Children will get a chance to grow and harvest vegetables, learning about and implementing composting practices and conservation methods.

Class themes

Gardening Basics
Students will learn about gardening while get ting their hands dirty and possibly work up a sweat.


Composting
Compost is a key ingredient in organic farming. Students will learn about the proper ways to composting organic waste.


Recycling and Reusing
There are so many ways to reuse the items that we toss in the trash. Student will work in groups to come with ways they can reuse their common household waste


Organic Gardening Basics
Students will learn about starting a garden organically of the right way on how to grow an organic gardening.


Vermiculture
Much easier then you think. There are many ways this can be done at home and at school.


The Benefits of Insects
Yes, insects are beneficial. ALL insects have an important role in nature.


Plant with care
Students will learn that with planting they need to be careful they understand that some plants cause more problems if they are not planted properly.


Companion Gardening
Companion gardening is exactly what is say arranging a garden in away that helps support it’s neighboring plants.


Gardens Galore
Here students will learn that gardens come in all shapes and size. A garden can be planted around a theme.
