Joel Chaney will discuss Custom Microsoft Excel Output from R Using the “XLConnect” Package
The “XLConnect” package allows one to read data from Excel into R and to create Excel files with highly-customized formatting from within R. Excel workbooks containing multiple worksheets can be created, with each sheet containing a variety of tables and graphs. Fonts (styles, sizes, colors, effects) and cell formats (categories, alignment, borders, fill) are easy to define. Furthermore, an Excel file can be set up as a template in order to reduce the amount of R code required.
Please bring your questions and ideas.
See you then
