The Cincinnati Reggae Meetup has sprouted in April 2009 with the purpose to bring together all reggae fans for a once a month evening of the best reggae music, and friendly reasoning. If you love Reggae then this is your group. We hope to focus on Roots Reggae and feature the more conscious artists. Members will be invited to give brief presentations on their favorite artist and play some of their music. We hope to make this group as educational as it is fun. We also hope to promote some group and individual reasoning on topics of interest to the group and related to Reggae such as Rastafari wisdom and history, One Love philosophy and other topics suggested by the group. Critical to this group’s launch is the generous support by the owner of CLUB ELEMENTS reggae club (just south of Roselawn off of Reading rd) to allow us to have exclusive use of the club for our MEETUP. Our plan is to meet there once a month on Wednesday from 7-9pm .

ABOUT CLUB ELEMENTS:
This is a great late night reggae club that recently moved 3 doors to the west from their previous location. The new place is much nicer and bigger with a capacity of 500 fun loving people. This is a late night Thursday-Sat club that opens at 11 and goes to 3:30 thursday and 4:30 Fri/Sat Always a friendly crowd and always some great Selectors running the sound system. The club does not currently sell alcohol but has other refreshments, smoothies and root drinks and there is even a raw foods chef serving the healthiest of foods from the kitchen.
It can be hard to find if you have never been there - it’s in a big strip mall that is behind all the businesses 300yds north west of the corner of Reading and Seymour. To get there you can cut through Stewert Tire off Reading or go behind Autozone off Seymour - then it’s the door just left of the bingo hall. (Club Ritz is the door just right of the bingo hall).
One Love,
