CityCamp Brighton 3.5

Details
For this years Brighton Digital Festival, CityCamp Brighton will be celebrating where our online and offline communities meet, what we can do to bring them closer together and encourage more engagement and collaboration between the two.
http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/3/8/e/600_252089582.jpeg We will be hosting a wide range of workshops stretching from live cooking workshops and sharing recipes on Facebook and Twitter, to live webcasting your views on what should be happening within your local government! We will also be demonstrating the resilient offline-internet technology ‘Communifi’ which evolved from a pitch at the City Camp 2.5 inviting ideas for resilient Community run wifi.
The doors open at 12pm and close at 5pm. Please feel free to drop in at any time. We have a capacity of 30 people at one time, which we hope not to breach, but in event of that happening, there is a smashing coffee shop down stairs and we can form an orderly queuing party down there!
We have chosen ‘The Dream Factory’ as our venue as it is an evolution of the ‘Citizens Hub’ project that came out of our CityCamp 2 conference!

For Brighton Digital Festival, we will be hosting the CityCamp 3.5 event, which will act as an interactive exhibition space for all of the amazing projects that have come from CityCamp so far. We’ll also give you a teaser of next spring’s CityCamp 4 and let you know how you can get involved – and why you should
See you there!
