Tails of the Trail™ 12/6 hike shelter dogs from Montgomery County Animal Control

Details
The ASPCA indicates (https://www.aspca.org/about-us/faq/pet-statistics) that of the roughly 3.9 million dogs entering shelters per year, approximately 31% are euthanized. In some urban areas these numbers run as high as 78%.
Be a part of reducing euthanasia rates by hiking with local homeless hounds! Socialization and exercise can reduce kennel related stress and anxiety and improve a shelter dog’s behavior, thus extending their lives!

The humans of Clarksville Outdoor Adventures invite you to Tails of the Trail (http://www.tailsofthetrail.com) when we hike with shelter dogs for a couple of hours of exercise and companionship. We're partnering with Montgomery County Animal Control (https://www.mcgtn.org/animal-control) and we'll hike with our furry kids on the paved pathways of the local cemetery which should be lots of spooky fun! It is a 1.5 mile looping trail which we may walk twice for the larger dogs or we will walk each loop with one furry friend followed by a pup swap to hike with a second one.
Each participant is required contribute $15.50 (through your RSVP here) for us to purchase Remington corded dog slip leashes that we will donate to the shelter.
