This meetup group is all about learning, growing and practicing Qi Gong.
Who should join?
Healers of all kinds will find that their practice will improve with Qi Gong training. Energy workers, Lightworkers, Reiki healers, psychics, Rolfers, massage therapists, Chiropractors, and others will benefit from this group's classes. Reiki Masters in India and the U.S. have notably commented that they feel their practice improves by quantum leaps with the addition of Qi Gong.
Martial arts practitioners will also benefit greatly, as Qi Gong is the foundation for all martial arts. Understanding the energy and the spirituality behind martial arts improves the effectiveness of the practice, as well as adding to the health benefits.
Beginners to energy work and meditation should also feel welcome to join. Meditation practices are enhanced and taught, as well as the basics of all energy work.
Anyone interested in self-healing, healing others, and improvement of well-being and life force should learn Qi Gong.
What is Qi Gong?
Qi Gong is an ancient health improvement and healing system developed by the Chinese thousands of years ago. Based on energy they observed flowing through the body, the Chinese formulated an understanding, nomenclature, cosmology and self-healing system that is still practiced today by the general public and utilized in hospitals throughout China. Qi Gong uses special methods of breathing, posture, and mental concentration to gather, balance, and strengthen the energy systems found within the body and connected to sources of universal energy found existing in our natural environment. These practices can be used for self-improvement, self-healing and spiritual development. As a healing system, practitioners are trained to emit a special healing energy into the bodies of their patients.
Modern scientists have confirmed that infrared magnetic and acoustical energy is emitted from the hands of Qi Gong healers that greatly effect various helalth problems.
Dr. Russell's knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine adds a dimension to the Qi Gong that he teaches, and is classically known as "Medical Qi Gong." In addition, there is a difference between 5-Element Qi Gong and Classical 5-Element Qi Gong.
