Music Trios Feature
Flute, Harp, Piano, Viola, Cello and Violin
You're invited to enjoy the acclaimed Orlando Chamber Soloists, returning to Orlando from their award-winning summer residency in the Black Hills of South Dakota for a free performance at the University Club of Winter Park at 1 pm, Wednesday. September 28.
These soloists are winners of the 2011 Chamber Music America Residency Grant, awarded for their innovative programming and community collaboration. Their exciting program will feature Alan Morrison, piano; Dawn Marie Edwards, harp; Kelly Hall-Tompkins, violin; William Rounds, cello; Suzanne Kirton, flute; William Goodwin, viola; and Elizabeth Overweg, violin. The group's professional musicians are arriving from Boston, NYC, Philadelphia and New Orleans (visit their website for additional information at www.OrlandoChamberSoloists.org ).
Their program will include Schubert's Quartet-Satz, Lalo's Chants Russes for cello and harp, David Bruce East Coast premiere of Eye of the Night for harp trio, and Paul Schoenfeld's Cafe Music for piano trio. Hope you can join us for this light and very enjoyable concert. Usual wine and refreshments will be generously provided by our gracious volunteers.
