CocoaHeads March with BJ Miller

We have a couple of additions to announce for this week's meetup.

Our main speaker is still BJ Miller who will present on Core Data tips and tricks

Here's his talk description

I will cover some CoreData basics to define some fundamentals on what's required with base CoreData usage, and illustrate how MOgenerator and MagicalRecord make that process much easier. Also I plan to have a quick demo to see it in practice.

=========

Lincoln Dickerson will kick us off of a short presentation that includes a brief set of instructions for setting up a box as a place for a Git archive that can be used by other local computers for archiving. He writes, "Local because I am do not want to have an open source git account and I do not want to pay for something I can do for free."

Also special thanks to Bizdom - they will be providing pizza and a beverage for this meet up.

    It was my first one. Nice, comfortable facilities. The sponsor was good - who doesn't like free pizza?

    I enjoyed Lincoln's git presentation as it was very practical. The fact that this is how he worked things out and was sharing an empirical solution was great.

    Same thing for BJ. Good practical stuff. I will experiment with the ideas from both presenters.

    The discussion, including insights from non-presenters, was also very helpful. I look forward to any links to the slides and/or notes, as well.

    Giving Daniel a pass due to the band trip meeting. Been there, done that.

    My apologies but we have a mandatory meeting for a school band trip that has been moved earlier.

    Oh so wish I could go but wouldn't miss my oldest daughter's birthday for anything. Would love it if slides, speaker notes, and code were posted. Thx!
