Carl Shotwell
After graduating from OSU, Carl joined LeanDog as an apprentice and has been developing mobile, Ruby, and Javascript apps. He's participated in three Startup Weekends and just won the Columbus one with a Bitcoin app. He's just experiencing life and is on a quest to find exotic mustards and the perfect candy corn recipe.
Greg Svitak
Greg has been involved with the StartupBus since riding on the 2011 Cleveland bus. In 2012 he was the conductor on the Ohio/Cincinnati StartupBus and participated last year on the Alumni trip. He credits the StartupBus experience with giving him the push to quit his job and become an entrepreneur. Currently Greg runs Idea Innovations, which is a technology firm that builds new product for companies while working on a royalty model. In 2012, he has a mobile app startup called Andtix. The team got accepted into the Brandery, which is ranked as one if the top 15 startup accelerator programs in the country. He also has led 25 products to market while working for the CTO at Hyland Software. He also was on the organizing committee for Startup Weekend 2009/2010 and Cleveland GiveCamp.
Ryan Marimon
Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Ryan Marimon has been in the IT/Software Industry for over 10 years. He has always had a deep passion for technology as well as solving problems, so after receiving his bachelors degree from the University of Akron, he currently works at Hyland Software as a QA Infrastructure Manager. He is one of the organizers and facilitators of Cleveland of Startup Weekends and has also been a “Buspreneur” going SXSW on the Startup Bus. Ryan has always believed in giving back to the community, and one of his ways of doing that is by being a PM at the Cleveland GiveCamp each summer, where he works with non-profits to help solve their technical problems. In addition, he also currently serves on the CITE advisory board for the College of Business at the University or Akron. You can reach him @rmarimon or mail@ryanmarimon.net .
