Howdy Yall,

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I've had a chance to catch up on some things so I figured I would email some ideas for the next meetup.

Since we had two meetups, they were distinguished by separate names. For the group I originally organized, I chose the name "The Cleveland Area Web Design Meetup Group." This seemed appropriate since we had members from all over this area. Also there was a group already entitled "Northeast Ohio Web Designer/Developer Group". I like the idea of including terms like Developer, Designer, Programmer, or others to emphasize the broader scope of our group. Of course having a name like "The Greater Cleveland Area and Northeast Ohio Web Designer, Developer, PHP, COBOL, ASP, Javascript, CSS, Standards, 508 Compliant, XHTML crazy, Good color Meetup Group" is kinda out of the question. Well, Unless they let us have that many letters. Then we could shorten it to "TGCAANOWDDPCAJCS5CXCGCMG" which I think is quite easy to pronounce. After I hack up a fur ball or two:)

Well I hope that last paragraphs gives good enough reason to explain why I say this is y'all's meetup group and not mine. I'm just doing some pointin' an' clickin'. With that in mind, if anyone has ideas for the name of the group, feel free to toss them our way in an email, or at the meetup on Tuesday the 12th.

Besides that, there will definitely be a lot of socializing at our meetups, since the location encourages this. But we might want to have presentations of spThough I do not in particular have an idea which terms would be best. ecific topics. Perhaps question and answer sessions with folks specializing in certain areas of web design. Maybe show off sessions? I'm not really sure. Just bring your ideas and lay them out, and we will likely try to implement if we can:)

Also I will work on the About page a bit more. Start putting in information about PHP and MySQL and other web technologies that any of us use. This will make it more easily found in google searches.

Yall have a good weekend and look forward to seeing you on the 12th.

Thanks kindly and best regards,
Joseph James Frantz
