Let me ask you a few questions.
As many of us have been hit by the economy "correction", maybe we can help each other.
if members of the group were willing to contribute/pay for your time to teach this class what would that number be? I personnally sign up for online classes to reinforce these concepts regularly and well i can look at this as that too.
Now I know You probably dont want to become the boy scout master collecting dues, but if someone else handled that and paid you. what would that number be to do the 1-1/2 hour once a week or more class.?
Also please send me your consulting rates as I may be looking for some help with something I am doing.
I know we all valued the time you have given freely to helping us learn.
I know some folkes interested will not be able to contribute but I am certain we can find a workable solution that is good for all of us.
Let me know if i am off base with the class idea but at least humour me on the consulting.
Maybe if i do a consulting deal with you others can come to learn there too.
hoping all is fine at your end

I know I know it's been a while. Sorry for the delay. I wanted to update everyone on what's going on.
I've had to delay the classes (sorry for that) because of a lot of circumstances. Among those is that I've gone to half time, half pay at my day job. It's good for my employer (considering the economy) in that it helps them reduce costs but also know that they still have me available whenever they need. It's good for me because it gives me a tad bit more time to concentrate on some other pursuits. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) it means that I've had to prepare other avenues of income. (Side programming, freelancing, teaching, Linux installations you get the idea). A part of that is that I'm helping a friend of mine (Paul at Beyond PC) here and there. So there's some recent time constraints which I am still trying to sort out.
In any case Paul's looking for an
additional spot for classes (and a showroom) for his customers. When we've got that, we'll be able to use the spot for our classes. We're going to put together some older PCs for use for the classes. But we've got to work on the numbers, costs, location (Fairview Park is preferred) and other incidentals. (Part of the concern will be making sure he has costs of the new facility covered, so lots to plan).
So as soon as it all comes together I will let you all know.
