Stuart thanks. Now we just have to find the HTML 5 doctype that I had some time ago. Only important so that our code can validate in the browsers until HTML5 becomes supported by the browsers.

Kind Regards,

Aoirtoir and all:

I confirmed with the presenter (Parag Jagdale) of the Web Development SIG (www.WebSigCleveland.org) 4/17 meeting on HTML5/CSS3 that the JavaScript you found today is the same one he recommended yesterday.  Here is the link for everyone: http://remysharp.com/2009/01/07/html5-enabling-script/

Parag has now posted his HTML5/CSS3 presentation online at: http://www.un-identified.com/html5/index.html  It contains some great HTML5 examples, plus some very useful links.  Remember that HTML 5 is not a W3C recommendation yet, and not all browsers will support its functions.

For everyone, here is the link to the W3Schools HTML 5 Tag Reference: http://www.w3schools.com/html5/html5_reference.asp

If you go to my Twitter page you will see additional links from today's workshop plus my weekly announcement on tech meetings I track in Cleveland: http://twitter.com/sos_jr

Today's meeting was productive and we hashed out a lot of the details. We will be working in teams next week (or the following if I am not in town next week) to create the code for our templates. To find out where we stand with this project and participate in the discussion please go to:
