Ever since moving to Yosemite at age 17, Ron Kauk has pursued his dream of learning the ways of nature through outdoor experience-hiking, camping, and climbing. Tonight, Ron will share slides and highlights of his life's journey as a world class climber. From establishing new bouldering problems near Camp 4 to climbing roof cracks high above the Valley floor, Ron will show you the variety of climbs he's made in which he's pushed new dimensions. Come experience the beauty of Ron moving on rock in an excerpt from his film "Return to Balance: A Climber's Journey". Find out about Sacred Rok (www.sacredrok.org), his exciting endeavor to bring the experience of nature to youth, who are lacking the resources to access the outdoors. Seating Policy: If you register for any of our free in-store presentations, we will hold a seat for you until the scheduled start. If you do not arrive to claim your seat before this time, we will release it to the general public. Seating may be available at the door, even if registration is closed.
