Friday Night Climb

It's Friday night, so time to unwind!  Let's go climbing first, work up a ravenous appetite, and then grab a late night dinner afterwards (if you're up for it).

Let's meet in the front area of Brooklyn Boulders (575 Degraw St, Brooklyn, NY).  I'll also post the day before what I'll be wearing, so it'll be easy to find me there.  Brooklyn Boulders has given our meetup the discounted rate of $19 (including all gear).  Just tell them you're with Vedge when you arrive.

Around 9:30pm, or when people are ready, we'll head over to Ghenet (348 Douglass St, Brooklyn, NY) for a late night Ethiopian dinner.  Ghenet is not totally vegetarian, but they have a great vegan selection, as you can see:

Notice to beginners: if you have never ever climbed or belayed before you will need to take a Learn the Ropes class.  These can be scheduled here.  There is a nominal fee for this. What to wear: comfortable clothes (think yoga).

Notice to newcomers: You need to pass a belay certification test.  If you've belayed before, the test will only take a couple of minutes.  If you need a refresher, a test partner, or belay partner, just let me know.

Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow! I'll be wearing jean shorts and will have a blue flower in my hair. I should be on the floor. You can also text me or call[masked] should you need to reach me. See you at BKB!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
