*Please use these directions to get to our house as GPS often times will take you to a cow field:

From W-S area - Take I-40 West. Take the second Hwy 801 exit (just past the Yadkin Bridge) towards Advance. Stay on Hwy 801 South, for 4.5 miles, until you get to the town of Advance. You will take a right on Cornatzer Road. (Right past the firestation & post office) Go 2.5 miles & turn left on Fork Bixby Road. (There's a grocery store called Bixby Mall at the corner) Then go 2.9 miles & turn left on Livengood. Be sure to look on the left because the same road is called Williams Road on the right. When road ends turn left on gravel road, (Myers Farm Trail) Follow that till you get to a brick house with a yellow barn. Park somewhere in the field.

From the Lexington area: - Take Hwy 64 West, towards Mocksville. Turn right on Fork Bixby Road (just a wee bit after the blinking light at Hwy 801). Then go about 2 miles & turn right on Livengood Road. When road ends turn left on gravel road, (Myers Farm Trail) Follow that till you get to a brick house with a yellow barn. Park somewhere in the field.

Well, August is hot so we decided to host a bike ride, followed by a chill pool party & cookout. Because it's always stinking hot in August we'll be starting the ride at 8:00 a.m. Probably keep the ride to around 30-40 miles tops, depending on the heat factor that day.

All our Clip in & Ride buddies, along with Bike Davie buddies are welcome to come. Please just RSVP within a week of this event so we can be sure to have enough food to go around. I'll be providing hamburgers, hotdogs, buns & toppings, along with a few healthier raw fruits & veggies. Also bottled water. If you prefer turkey burgers, please feel free to bring some to throw on the grill. Also, feel free to bring a covered dish, beer, wine or whatever else you may like. Just be sure to also bring a D.D. if you'll be partaking in adult beverages. Otherwise, we'll be taking your keys & pointing you in the direction of a spare bedroom.

Along with the pool, feel free to bring a fishing pole or your favorite pool cue stick. If you like to hike around the woods you can do that as well. We don't have a ton of outdoor furniture so you might want to bring a folding chair as well. That's about it. Oh wait....your non-riding spouses are welcome too. We'll just have to let them know approximately what time our ride will be done. So, we hope to see lots of your adorable faces here on the day. :)
