Clive's Badminton Social brings people together to play badminton. Come and socialize and meet new players with the same interest in badminton. Get fit, stay healthy and have fun!!!
We play every Friday evening at the fine facilities of the Globe Academy on Harper Road near Elephant & Castle. Our members come from Meetup, Racketpal and other sources so don't be deterred if the meetup sign-ups seem low. The organisers take care to ensure that everyone gets their share (or more!) of good competitive matches.
Clive's badminton social has been running for over 20 years, first in Peckham, and then in Elephant and Castle. With over 35 years of playing badminton, Clive is now looking for more on-court time and so will not be able to help beginners or improvers. As such everyone applying to join the group should be able to sustain a decent and competitive rally.
Although some of us can get pretty competitive, all of us want the Social to have a fun and fulfilling atmosphere!
