Talk #1: "Introduction to Om Next"
This talk will introduce Om.Next, the newest iteration of the popular Om library for React-based clojurescript applications. Om Next introduces a novel take on state management, inspired by GraphQL, Falcor and Datomic queries.
Speaker profile: Don Ryan is a lecturer in computing, based in Dublin.
Talk #2: "Beginners want to work with maps, too!"
A beginner sequence library talk. This time the focus is on working with maps, nested maps and vectors of maps. Clojure has an extremely powerful set of sequence processing functions, but unless you know about them, you can't use them. This talk aims to expose the audience to some of the more useful sequence functions for working with maps.
Speaker profile: Dan Kersten has been tinkering with Clojure since '09 and considers himself a Clojure, functional programming and programming language enthusiast.
