Please feel free to come forward and suggest a topic for future meetups.

The Hub TLV is kindly hosting our first meetup on a voluntary and conditional basis, ie. provided nobody rents the studio on said date and time. However, depending on the number of people, there is a smaller space we can use, also courtesy of the Hub. If you're a company and want to sponsor a permanent place for this meetup in or around Tel-Aviv, please do come forward.

The purpose of this group is to explore, study and debate the Clojure programming language. This latest incarnation of a Lisp language is thriving, and as such represents some sort of a miracle for old-timers who hold it to be the one True language, but it is also a boon for younger developers who discover that writing directly in tree from can be liberating. Aside from philosophical concerns around immutability, concurrency, STM, lambda calculus and the functional programming paradigm, we will also welcome pragmatic topics of discussion such as web application development, java interoperability and adoption of the technology by the industry.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
