Learn more and the seek the Grail!
I think: "MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL" - timeless! YAHOO US States: The airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow is roughly 11 meters per second, or 24 miles per hour, beating its wings 7-9 times per second rather than 43. And a 5 ounce bird cannot carry a one pound coconut also did you know that funds earned by Pink Floyd's album "The Dark Side of the Moon" went towards funding The Holy Grail. The band were such fans of the show they would halt recording sessions just to watch "Monty Python's Flying Circus". Source(s): Yahoo UK states: What you mean is air speed. "Velocity" is a term that means speed AND direction. Since a bird can fly in essentially any combination of 3 dimensions, it doesn't make sense to specify 'velocity'....only speed. So, what you want is the air speed, which, upon long it up found the speed to be less than I thought it would be.....link below. Source(s): http://www.style.org/unladenswallow/
