Kubernetes crash course

Details
Greetings everybody!
For our 9th meetup, we are excited to welcome Patrick Reilly, CEO of Kismatic. Patrick will present and demo an introduction to Kubernetes as well as the outline and plans around Ubernetes.
Abstract:
Today, Kubernetes clusters are relatively self-contained units, each typically running in a single "on-premise" data center or single availability zone of a cloud provider (Google's GCE, Amazon's AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc). Many Kubernetes users have expressed interest in tying together ("federating") multiple clusters in some sensible way in order to enable very interesting use cases like multi-cloud application deployments, bursting, full datacenter/AZ failure resilience, and more. Join us for a crash course on Kubernetes and learn about Ubernetes, an active proposal to build a federated control plane for multi-cloud Kubernetes!
The meetup will be happening at 6:30PM on Tuesday, May 26th.
