Class & Workshop: Instructors will give a demonstration and teach some tips and tricks for how to solder. Even if it's your first time ever soldering, in only about an hour you can solder up a working microcontroller and get code running on it. Learn to use the vast open resources of the Arduino community to come up with your own electronic applications. This workshop is intended to teach you necessary skills for further exploration in the world of Arduino.
Location: Classroom at Club Cyberia
Restrictions: Open to students of all ages. As with any event at Club Cyberia, minors must have a parent or guardian present and responsible for them. Registration closes Monday, Dec 1 to allow time to order supplies!
Cost: The cost of this workshop includes your Freeduino kit, which is yours to keep, and soldering supplies to use during the class.
Register Now: $25 for Club members/$35 for non-members
Bring: Your own laptop and USB cable. If you are able to bring your own soldering iron and supplies, please do so! We have these items, but depending on attendance, students may have to share.
Note: Have your own Freeduino, but haven't used it yet? The $25 is the cost of the kit, so if you bring your own, deduct $25 from the cost of the workshop.
