We are Service Sistas, Donating Divas, Cultured Cuties, and Word of Mouth Women engaged in community service projects, which has an overall empact of strengthening the family, particularly within the African American community. This is achieved through partnering with local nonprofits and assisting with their efforts to positively affect this community.
Vision: To sustain and expand the African American Commitment to our families. Our Community. And our Culture.
We welcome those interested in learning and developing an understanding of the culture that is uniquely American via African Diaspora.
Look forward to gathering for: cultural events, ladies night socials, family/couples outings, and of course friendship building!
Cocoa Butterflies was founded as an answer to President Obama and First Lady Michelle's 2009 call to service!
