Meeting 38 - What's Next for AFNetworking, Dangers of Choice, Asynchronous tools
Details
I'm super excited to invite you to the first CocoaHeads meetup this year! We will kickstart this new year with special guest Mattt Thompson of Heroku, the man behind the popular networking library AFNetworking, author of nshipster.com and developer of several other interesting projects! Take the opportunity to talk directly to the source and brain behind one of iOS most popular networking libraries right now!
# What's Next for AFNetworking by Mattt Thompson
2012 was a milestone year for AFNetworking, with the its 1.0 release, and the creation of AFIncrementalStore & other great extensions. There's even more to be excited for in 2013, so you won't want to miss this early look at the future of networking & persistence on iOS!
# Dangers of Choice by Tobias Ahlin
How does choice affect the usability? Tobias will guide us through a few case-studies in an interesting mix of psychology and design. Great presentation for both developers and designers!
# Asynchronous tools by Joachim Bengtsson
Nevyn will show his tools and projects for dealing with asynchronous tasks.

Looking for future presenters!
We're always on the look-out for people that would like to give a talk for a meeting. The talk doesn't need to be long (10 minutes is fine if your topic is small or you just want to tease the group) and you don't need to be an expert (your commitment to the topic is more important!). Toss me an e-mail and we'll work something out for a future meeting! Also, if you want to show something you've done, don't hesitate to let me know, it doesn't have to be a formal presentation.
If you get lost, give me a call at +46 70 779 19 10
Welcome!
Best,
Marthin
