Hey dudes. Tim has stupidly invited me to take the floor for this one. Someone might want to bring a shepherd's crook - just in case. ;)

Wondering if I should enable the forum feature (that I purposefully disabled) in order to have a more defined area for presentation ideas rather than this fake meeting...

Lets turn the forum on and see what features that has
Good plan, new thread here: http://www.meetup.com...

Might be best to delete this event now if possible.
Idea: Version control and patch workflow.
I'm not sure what you are asking here. Is it that you'd like to give a talk on this, or that you'd like a talk on this done?
I guess I could give such a talk, but personally I'm more interested in hearing someone talk about it :)

Now we have two people in the group now with a pretty interesting background with version control type issues. Tim of course (Bazaar) and Jason who wrote MacHg. Both also work on very large projects... Maybe they could point out a couple of things that are possible with version control etc. that most people wouldn't know?

Care to elaborate?
Perhaps how to structure the codebases? How to handle dependencies.
I have an interesting system that I am using that might be of interest to hear about for managing dependencies for very large JS project, also used for managing offline cache as well
Battle stories are always good... assuming someone has worked on a large JS project recently.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
