Open Hack Session
This meeting will be an open time where we will work on our ongoing projects and talk about new ones. Come with ideas for projects, things you may have already started, or we’ll try to match you up with an already existing project or idea. Come build, share, and learn about civic tech!
Pizza and Beer will be provided!

We are a group of designers, web developers, academic researchers, data journalists, activists, policy wonks, and curious citizens who want to make Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley more just, equitable, transparent and delightful to live in through data, design and technology. Use your skills to give back to your community.
Join us every Monday from 6-9pm at The WorkSpace, Volume One’s CoWorking space downstairs for a free, weekly event to build, share and learn about tools to create, support, and serve the public good.
Not a techie? That's ok! We encourage non-technical folks to pair up and learn from our community's designers and developers. We've seen time and time again, the best civic projects come from teams with a diverse background.
Remember, there's much more to making a great app than just coding. Brainstorming, copywriting, requirements gathering, feedback, user-testing, outreach, and journalism are all needed.
