Sorry guys, I've had an eye infection all week & it doesn't look I'll be better by tomorrow. I'll make sure to contribute at least an article to the wiki.

Hi all, unfortunately I had to miss the meet up last week and don't know if anything has been organized for the challenges yet. I am a PHP/JS dev and would love to lend a hand with one of the challenges (The 311 challenge seems interesting). Has anyone started organizing anything yet? In what way can I start getting ready not be completely lost next weekend?

Hey Adrian - so check out the NDoCH page on Miami Wiki. We've posted some local challenges there - provided those challenges don't interest you you're still more than welcome to do your own thing.

There's also a list of data sets - a lot of those data sets are in formats that could be re-purposed for developers better, admittedly, but it's a start.

Hi everyone - we're thrilled about the amount of sign-ups so far! We've made some updates to the National Day of Civic Hacking page on Miami Wiki at: - you'll find that the local challenges have been posted, although if you have a project of your own, then by all means, go for it!

For you developers and programmers, you'll find links to data sets that you may find of use. (Note: As it goes, a lot of these formats are in XML and you may need to convert it to something more useful like JSON or something else. This is why you guys are rockstar developers.) For everyone else, especially folks who don't have an idea yet: we have a goal of creating 150 new pages for Miami Wiki about anything related to Miami, and we'll need your help. Hope to see you guys the weekend of June 1st!
