In preparation for deploying our volunteers to Newark schools for the Hour of Code 2014, we will conduct a pre-event meeting to:

• Introduce partners

• Review school assignments

• Disburse appropriate materials

** The meeting will take place in Room B29 of Newark City Hall; everyone MUST sign in upon entering the building.**

6:00-6:15pm — Introductions & Welcome New Members

6:15-6:25pm — Announcements

6:25-6:45pm — Overview of Hour of Code Lessons

6:45-7:00pm — Farewells! & Number Exchanges

If you haven't registered to teach an hour of code do so HERE (http://www.ci.newark.nj.us/newark-tech/hour-of-code/volunteer/)(!); the more volunteers, the more schools we can add to our experience this year.

Attending this meeting is NOT mandatory to participate however we would like everyone to be able to put a face to a name prior to their lesson.
